- What did the phone company say when you asked them to check the phone
- lines? Just because it is a new building doesn't mean that the phone
- lines attaching to the building are good. I would definetly recommend
- that you call them and complain about intermittent (that way they will
- check) background noise on your phone. They should check the phones
- from outside your complex back to the central office at least.
- Another quick test, lift the receiver on your phone and hit a key (not
- 0) and listen, if you hear anything then you have problems with the
- phone line. Best of luck.
